About Us Our StoryFirst of all, I would like to introduce you to the name I chose for my cattery. My cats are so precious to me. Therefore, I metaphorically linked them to something really precious to one and expensive which is a jewel. Also, my lovely cats are known for they sparkling round and big eyes which are represented in the logo. That is why I chose the word gleam which is used to say "He has gleamy eyes", meaning sparkling and beautiful eyes. I combined the two words and visualized them into the logo's symbol the eyes. Which show that I am very attentive to the eye quality and intense color in my cats. Furthermore, I received my first kitten on my eighteenth birthday a smoke doll faced male Persian that I named Mishmish. Mishmish wasn't the cat of my dreams, however as soon as i saw him I fell in love. Since then, I have been taking care of him as if he was my real baby. Months later, I decided that Mishmish was all alone and needed a mate, so I looked all around for a suitable wife. Indeed, I found my perfect girl Basbo0osa (senior), it is sad that she is no longer living with us. I was so excited to see Mishmish and Basbo0osa have their first litter. This mating gave me three gorgeous kitties one of which is Fifi my blue solid Persian female. The two other males went to two loving homes. However, I felt that this wasn't the breed I was looking to further breed, so I had Mishmish nuetered, so he will be my forever healthy cat and have an extended life spam. Two years later, I finally found my dream cat Sweety, a silver shaded Persian with gorgeous emerald green eyes. Im just missing her pure bred male chinchilla to start my cattery of silver and golden Persians. When I got Sweety from abroad I got another silver shaded male from a cattery in Ukraine that was deceitful and sold me a sick cat. I kept him with love for four months, I tried everything, spent my whole fortune to save him, but he had no immunity, and he left us on November 2009. Since then, I stopped looking for a suitable male cat for Sweety. So, she was bred by my gorgeous cream-point Himalayan stud because his dilute color genes and Sweety's wide-band gene, could produce interesting dilute colorings. From there, I began my true breeding experience and I decided to announce the establishment of my cattery that is striving to add pure registered breeders. Every successful plan starts small and ends up big. Thus, I am proud to say that GleamyJewels is a small in home cattery located in Kuwait specializing in Silver, Golden and Blue Golden Doll Faced Persians. GleamyJewels is a cattery name registered with CFA. The few cats that I own are never caged, live underfoot, sleep with the family and own us. I get so much joy from breeding cats and strive to produce gorgeous, doll-faced, happy, healthy, well socialized kittens. My goal is not only on the beauty of my kittens, but on health and temperament as well. Gleamy Jewels is small, so I am able to give each kitten lots of love and attention. They are handled from birth and I spend so much time nurturing and loving each kitten. The socialization process is important in producing the purrfect personality you are looking for!We place cats in loving family-oriented homes. We will not knowingly place one of our kittens with any family where we are not sure that it will be loved and treated with kindness. A cute bonding story is when Sweety was in her late trimester, she was moved and placed in my bedroom away from the other cats. She bonded with me so much that when it was time to give birth I didn't notice her following me and meaowing and then running back to my room and going under the bed. I was like "No sweety" and I left the room, because I didn't want her to get used to this place for nesting. I went back out and she kept doing the same thing, I thought she wanted a treat and I gave her some. Until I got a call from a friend and stayed on top of my bed chatting for 30 minutes, then I headed out to my parents room. In this time, she was under the bed rest assured that I was in the room with her so she went along with her first stage of labor. All this time, I had no clue. Until, 10 minutes later she showed up at my parents room and gave me a meaow and then started panting. My mom was like "isn't that one of the signs you told me about?" Shockingly I replied "YEAH!" Sweety turned around and we noticed that her water broke. I carried her quickly to her nesting box and we gave birth to three cute kittens. Poor thing she came all the way running to me saying "Hey my water just broke." I love her so much, She is the best mom ever.

DOB: Jan. 2006Smoke Persian (Nuetered)Mishmish is my first cat. He is very chubby with amazing soft coat. He is very quiet but when he gets his mood swings he scares my brothers off, but not me I know him more than myself and I know he is a harmless creature with very extreme facial expressions. He is very loving and social. He loves new visitors, he actually adores sniffing their shoes and feet. Sometimes he'll roll on the floor for strangers or when hes in a good mood for tummy rubs that end up with rough play. He is my first love that is why he gets jealous sometimes from the other cats, but in the end he loves them and is used to living with them. Such a great companion my lovely Mishmish. Love you to death.
DOB: April 30, 2010Chinchilla Persian(Breeder)Curiosity killed a cat. Fenix is a new addition to my family. He is from a reputable cattery in France. I would like to thank Cathy Delattre for giving me this beautiful little creature. SInce he is a new cat, Fenix is so curious for new people and the surroundings. Fenix is adapting very well. He is actually in love with his new bride Sweety, but it is only a one sided love :( No worries Fenix as soon as you become an adult she will be begging you for love. He is also loving his new brothers and sisters. When I allow them to visit him, he starts playing hide and seek with them. He is such a doll that loves sleeping next to you. I love him so much and he is the cat of my dreams. Thank you Cathy again and I will spoil him with all my love.
DOB: Sept. 28, 2008Silver Shaded Persian(Breeder)Sweety is sweet in every way. Even her voice is soft and sweet. She is very calm and quiet. However, she doesn't like to be handeled a lot, whenever she feels she needs love and affection she'll come right to you for a head and nose massage. It is amazing how she grew to be a self-dependent adult and a loving mom. Sweety I love you so much and I'm so proud to be your mom.
DOB: May 13, 2007Father: MishmishMother: Basbo0osa Solid Blue Persian(Retired)Fifi is a very calm and caring cat. She is the smartest cat ever. She understands what we say and the rules we place. However when it comes to food, all rules are disobeyed. Fifi is crazy about food whenever we finish our lunch meal she always hops on the table and steals a piece of meat or chicken until she is busted. She is so smart, whenever we open the door to head downstairs, she never runs away, instead she walks right to the elevator door and waits for it to open, hops right in, and wherever it takes her she comes out and follows you wherever. She loves playing hide and seek, it is funny how she actually plays it and enjoys it. You go hiding and she comes right away to find you. Everyone in the house loves Fifi for her amazing and obedient personality. You are such an angel Fifi.

Adoption Info Adoption InformationI keep my kittens until they are 13 to 16 weeks old depending on how they are eating and how well they are developing. It is my sole discretion as to when I feel a kitten is ready to go to their new forever home, based on how they are maturing. The balance for your kitten is due at the time of pick up if you are picking up in person or two weeks prior if I am shipping the kitten. When you pick up your kitten, I will NOT accept a check for the balance, you must bring CASH for the balance. I start my kittens out at an early age with getting them accustomed to being groomed. This means your kitten will have had their hair brushed on a regular basis as well as baths and nail trimming. It is important to keep this habit up so that as your kitten gets older and developes a full adult coat, they are used to being combed and do not mind being bathed and groomed. My cats are so used to being groomed, that most of mine purr and relax in my lap while I groom them.All of my kittens are seen and given vaccinations by a liscensed veterinarian. You will receive a full health record as well as a certificate stating that your kitten is healthy, free of parasites and free of any congenital defects.I reserve the right to cancel or refuse a sale of any kitten, anytime up until the time of delivery, for any reason, if I feel it is not in the best interest of the kitten.PRICING Each kitten is priced differently depending on its coat colour and quality, and on its genetic build. If you think raising cats is cheap then think twice before getting one. Cat care consumes time and money.PRICES ARE FIXED.SHIPPING:Shipping is available although I do prefer for you to pick your kitten up in person or that I hand deliver. Shipping includes the airline fee, crate, & health certificate. I ship out of Kuwait airport. Shipping cost is on the buyer and the buyer is responsible for any complications of shipping.When buying a kitten from me, you are agreeing to provide your kitten with proper health care, vaccinations, and regular checkups. You are agreeing to provide a clean, humane environment, with food and clean water at all times. My kittens are not to be caged or neglected!HEALTH GUARANTEE:To the best of seller's knowledge (Gleamy Jewels Cattery), purchaser is receiving a healthy kitten/cat. To validate this health guarantee, purchaser must have his/her veterinarian inspect the cat/kitten purchased within 7 days of receiving the kitten/cat and if any illness is found, purchaser must contact seller immediately, and may at his/her option, either:1. Return the kitten/cat to seller for full refund of purchase price (shipping charges are non-refundable) or2. Return the kitten/cat to seller (Gleamy Jewels Cattery) for replacement cat/kitten if available. Seller guarantees cat/kitten from any genetic health problem within the first year of purchase. If a genetic problem is discovered, seller (Gleamy Jewels Cattery) agrees to replace the cat/kitten with another of equal value. Purchaser must provide seller with proof of genetic problem from their veterinarian. 3. The seller will ensure the Kitten from 7 weeks of age is wormed every 4 weeks while at cattery:4. The seller will give this kitten its first Vaccination and second if required F3 from 8 weeks of age. It is the responsibility of the owner to give this kitten its second/third vaccination at 16 weeks of age.PURCHASER AGREES TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS OF SALE.1. Under no circumstances will the cat be sold, leased or given to a pet shop.2. In the event the cat/kitten cannot be kept due to unforseen circumstances the breeder (Gleamy Jewels Cattery), will be notified to help the owner find a suitable home for the cat/kitten if required.3. In the event the owners cannot find a home in time, The cat/kitten, registration papers and a Transfer of Owner ship (Transfer Form) must be signed and will be returned to Gleamy Jewels Cattery. Gleamy Jewels Cattery will take care of the cat/kitten and will continue to find a home-or/sell the cat on the owners behalf, forwarding the money to the owner less expenses.4. Care of Kitten. Buyer agrees that cat/kitten will live indoors at all times. Buyer agrees never to sell cat/kitten for laboratory use. Buyer agrees to provide necessary vaccinations and adequate health care for the life of this cat/kitten. Yearly check-ups and booster vaccinations (including rabies, if required by your veterinarian) are required and should be brought up-to-date on the health record provided to Buyer at the time of purchase. Buyer agrees to feed cat/kitten purified water and premium food without fillers, bi-products, gluten, and magnesium as these products can cause crystals and severe health problems. Buyer agrees that if he/she can no longer care for cat/kitten, the Seller will be contacted in an effort to help find a suitable home.
